I will not masturbate for free in 2020-Juliet Ibrahim

The year is drawing to a close and as is tradition amongst many people, it means time to take stock of the present year and make resolutions for the new one. Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim has set a rather strange resolution for herself.  The Ghanaian Nollywood actress  has made no secret of  her desire to go international with her acting craft setting her sights on Hollywood as she has outgrown the local Nollywood industry. 2020 is the year of not doing anything for free; not even masturbation. 🤔🙄😳🍾 #AtoastTolife

Black Face And 2Baba Finally Settle Out Of Court Over Copyright Infringement

The former members of Plantashun Boyz, Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia and Ahmedu ‘Black Face’ Obiabo have finally ended their three-year dispute. Both artistes opted for an out-of-court settlement for their ongoing copyright infringement battle in Lagos on Wednesday. 2baba reached an out-of-court settlement with Black Face, whom he filed a N50 million libel suit against. The erstwhile best friends came to an agreement at a mediation process held in the presence of 2baba’s manager, Efe Omorogbe, and Black Face’s lawyer, Manny Enajeroh, in Lagos on Wednesday. A mediator, Ronke Kuku, oversaw the process at the Ikeja High Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre (ADR) section. After the successful mediation, Blackface promised not to publicly accuse 2baba again while 2baba agreed to make all the necessary corrections and amendments that had prevented Black Face from receiving royalties. Black Face had claimed ownership of two of 2baba’s biggest hits, ‘Let Somebody Love You’ a

Bobrisky replies prophetess, Mummy B who claims he’d fall incurably sick if he does not mend his ways

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, has finally responded to the Prophetess whose prophecy about him went viral today. The prophetess via Facebook issued a stern warning to the crossdresser, claiming that she got a message from God that Bobrisky should repent and change from his abominable ways or else he would be incurably sick. Bobrisky has reacted to the prophecy with a post of his own on Instagram. See Bobrisky’s response below: “My attention has been drawn to a certain prophetess and her prophec y about me changing my abominable ways or sickness will befall me. “It’s ridiculous and pathetic how much hate I have amassed from living out my originality. I don’t kill, I don’t steal, I don’t defraud others. How am I the problem of Nigeria? How does being a crossdresser and a transgender woman translate to abomination? It is rather bemusing to me that a lot of people will have me killed than the evil politicians and people in power punished “Many of you

A Zvishavane man Vashko Sande has shocked people after marrying his own mother in-law as a second wife whom he dated secretly for 7 years, says he is his own father-in-law. Vashko Sande did the unthinkable when he fell in love with his mother-in-law, betraying his wife’s trust. He reportedly became wild and abusive after finding new love and even elders failed to “discipline” him as he defied social norms and married the woman as his second wife. The wife, Vimbai Magora, failed to come to terms with her husband’s abusive behaviour forcing her to seek help from the long arm of the law. Magora in her application for a peace order said: “We got married in 2008 and since 2011 my husband became hostile as he had fallen in love with my mother. “He started beating and insulting me, threatening to chase me and my four children out of our matrimonial home.” She further revealed that even family elders failed to resolve their problem as he never listened to their advice, but continu

Olabisi Ajala, the Traveller: Of Fame and Penury

In a moment of psychological terror, anguish and angst, Sophocles, at a point of deep exasperation, in Oedipus Rex, said: “call no man happy, until he is dead!” Life did terrible things to Oedipus. He had unknowingly murdered his father and married his mother. Chance rules our lives and the future, certainly, is all unknown. In the Yoruba, there is the aphorism, “Alejo l’owo” (“Money is a stranger”), hence if it enters your hand, take good care of it, like a lady fresh at puberty. Moshood Adisa Olabisi Ajala, popularly known as ‘Ajala the traveller’ in his prime, sought to capture the world but was eventually consumed by his passion. He was born in 1934 in Ghana, into a Nigerian polygamous home of 30 children and four wives. He was the 25th child of his father, who relocated back to Nigeria when Olabisi was an infant. He had his secondary education at the Baptist Academy, Lagos and the Ibadan Boys High School, Ibadan. In 1952, at the age of 18, Olabisi proceeded to America t
